Wood score (small gloat)

I stopped by the wood dump this weekend and found practically a whole tree there in good shape. I have to say that this is unusual, since normally there are only a lot of large check blocks of wood. Spent about an hour cutting and have some nice blanks sealed for turning hopefully this weekend.

I'm not certain of the wood, but it looks a lot like hickory. Some of the color is just beautiful. The wood ranges in size from 13" - 27" wide. With my 20" swing and no outboard turning, I'll have to trim it down some.

Not sure what type of wood it is either, but it does look pretty. Can't wait to see some pics of the finished product!
