Time to ask the experts again!
I have been in contact with three companies in the UK about buying a laser engraving machine, but due to work constraints I am having to wait a few weeks to see them in action.
How good is photographic engraving? What are the limitations? I can imagine they are only as good as the operator of the software and machine that is making them. Which is the best medium to engrave on?Does anyone have any jpegs they would be happy to show off. I have seen some on manufacturers web pages but would prefer to see some from real people. As before any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Ralph

Browse through this forum and you'll find a lot of pictures of photos on wood, stone, etc...

Ralph, do a search on my posts, the engraving of photographs are better than your average printer. Wood, glass, marble, granite, denim, acrylic and the list goes on from there or as Dave suggested, pictures on any of the said items.
