Well took the week off this week and turned all week. I made this maple HF which is 7 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" across. It is finished with Minwax Antique Oil. I will buff it after it sits and dries a few day.

Thanks everyone. That was some of the first maple I have turned. It really was a joy to turn and finish. I may not buff that peice as it is pretty shiney as is.

Thanks again. I have already contacted Patty and told her to make sure she e-mails me when she gets more pieces like that. I really like turning maple. The finish on this one is the best I have ever finished anything. I sanded it to 600 and it was smooth as glass.
