I've read some of the previous posts about the use of Cedarshied instead of DNA for bowl blank drying/stabilization, but have not seen any posts recently about CedarShield. Has anyone tried both? If so, what are your observations and what do you prefer?

Rob, I'm not familiar with Cedar shield, but I have a friend that uses Pentacryl (I know I've mispelled that) it works well for him, but at 50 bucks a gallon I'll stick with the dna. I personally don't think there could be a better drying method than the alky bath.
