Here's another BEB Gentlemen's roller, but this one has better figure than the last. I also go smarter about aligning the grain of the screwed-on cap with the body! Also, despite being a stabilized blank (these kick a$$ by the way...) I still did the CA slurry to fill some voids and then a CA/BLO topcoat. The result is an even glassier finish. Based on this, I'll be using CA finishes even on stabilized blanks in the future. Without CA, they almost polish as nicely as acrylic, but not quite.
A friend is having a wedding in September, and I plan on doing one of these, or maybe a statesman or emperor for them to use as the guest book signing pen.
The minigloat is... I sold my first two pens! A walnut slimline (hi Rick!) and also a Rosewood burl rhodium cigar. The cigar was only posted in my store for 12 hours before it was gone, and I swear it was not anyone I know! :)
Thanks for looking (as always) and if anyone is sick and tired of seeing my pens just yell. ;)
