Does anyone use a table saw for cutting brass?

Well , we cut harder engravers brass , we use a non ferrous carbide tipped blade using goggles and gloves as well as a lubricant and are very careful to hold the sheet down.
Ordinary "soft" brass or copper is more dangerous to cut like that as it clogs cutters and the blade can hook on the sheet and rip it out your hands etc.
The secret to good cutting is the feed rate of the sheet , the RPM of the blade and the tooth and blade profile.

Personally, I use a shear (I have a Beverly and a squaring)

But if I where to try, a negative rake blade might be a good piece of additional advice
