Here's a Gentlemen's FP in Tortoise Shell acrylic that goes to LOML. This is my first FP and my second screw-cap, so I'm trying to sort out the best photo method. Here's a few options. What do you think? Clearly it's necessary to have at least one with the cap off, but which position is better?

Another very nice pen. I'd vote for the first of the "cap off" pictures.

Beautiful pen Patrick!
I too say, the first of the cap offs is definitly better than the second. On the second part of the pen is hidden behind the cap. It could be much better with the cap behind the pen.

Beautiful as usual Patrick! I agree with Horst on both points, first is better but if you go with the second they should be reversed.

Very nice pen, Patrick. I prefer the first cap-off picture, but it might look better with the clip showing, say at about 4 o'clock. For the second, definitely put the cap behind the pen; as shown, you need to already know it's a fountain pen before you can see it, if at all.

Patrick I like the first two pictures. One with the cap off and one with it on is nice. The pen is beautiful by the way Patrick. Very well done.

I'm in agreement with the previous posts. I'd also suggest a different background. The white in those pictures is a little too much.
