My first 'commision piece', A previous customer of mine had found this really cool Pirate Safe at auction. He needed a table for it so I offered to build him one. Took it to him this weekend and got some pictures of it and the previous work it was designed to compliment. The design is a little 'Heavy' on the bottom side... But the safe is HUNDREDS of pounds. OLD WORLD SOLID STEEL.... very cool... if you can tell by the pics, the lock mechanisms where protected by a steel shield that was cut and engraved with Mermaids... veeery cool safe to look at.
This customer had used a LARGE amount of cleared natural maple through his whole home... so I'm also including some pictures of the Ladders and Railing we built them earlier. He had come up with the "Ship style" request for the ladders to save on floor space in the rooms.
