This bowl was the first in almost a year for me (been doing lots of smaller stuff). The new power sanding setup works great. Bowl is about 7"x2.5". I wanted it to be thinner but this rotten chunk of wood was beating me up and I decided to stop before I got hurt. Oiled, wipe on poly, and then buffed. I included a pic of the wood before spinning, I'm hoping to get into that habit so I can remember the starting point. Any comments?
Also anyone want to tell me about their worst nightmare turning? Thanks for stopping by!
