You might remember my earlier resawing post; http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=61089
I was able to finish up the panel this weekend. The 12 piece panel measures 53.75 X 38.75 X 1/2" thick. The joints are tongue & groove.
I was able to get a nice grain matching when I laid out the boards. The camera doesn't do the oak fleck & rays justice. Hopefully I値l be able to pop them come finishing time.

Beautiful work, Bruce! I'm looking forward to the rest of this project appearing before our eyes... :)

That looks great Bruce. Like Jim, I'd love to see the finished product when you get it all done and finished.

Bruce,

I see plenty of 'rays' in the current pic... I am sure they will reflect beautifully once you clear the piece. Looks great.

Thanks guys. Other than making the 5 drawers and a lot of finish sanding/scraping, I知 almost done with this project. I値l probably wait for fall/winter temps before I do the finish work.
Unless I completely blow the finishing, I will be posting plenty of pictures.

Very pretty Bruce.

That's going to be a beautiful cabinet. If you spent this much effort on the back. The rest of it must be spectacular.

Waiting to see the final result.

I hear you! It will probably take me a year to get my shop set up after we get into the new house.

Let me know if you need any help.

Joe, I'll post more detailed pics in a few weeks.
