Here's some pictures of the progress on my workbench. The end vise is built around a oak inner 'core'.

I dovetailed the doghole components for strenght.

The completed inner vise with honduras rosewood face.

The top is also rosewood. After careful layout, I drilled holes and removed the waste for the dogholes, finishing with a sharp chisel.
