I picked up Freud's SD508 at Rockler's with a coupon. Did a quick modify on one of my medium sleds, readjusted for square and away we go.

Now my question; once I get up towards a 3/4" width I have to leave my blade washer off. This is per the instructions and in my arbor's case, true. When I am tightening the nut the dado stack moves and I have to be careful not to rotate the teeth into each other. I solved this by using a piece of scrap to keep things still. Has anyone else experienced this and is there another option? If placing a small scrap in the teeth to keep them still while tightening is the answer, I'm OK with that.
