Black Walnut

Hi All,I'm sanding a small BW bowl,there are some fuzzy lines in it that I can't sand out with any sanding method I have used.Can any one help?

Mel if it is tear out you can spritz it with water and then sharpen your gouge and take a couple of finial cuts. I have also used mineral oil and walnut oil. Then do the same using a light couple of cuts.

One other thing I heard and saw on his video was Mike Mahoney said to use a bowl gouge with a conventional grind. I got a 3/8" and 1/2" P & N. These have a different bevel on them and do a excellent job on tear out also. Just my experience.
