Need help..

Looking for sources for black machine screws.

#10'sx32 or #10-24 1 inch and 1-1/4 and nuts.

I found #10 finish washers but not the screws or nuts

Anyone have a good source. Websites...

I google and search SMC. Also, McFeelys and McMaster-Car

Thanks

www.grainger.com (http://www.grainger.com)

I don't know if they have specific purchasing policies or not but if you can't find it here, chances are good you can't find it anywhere else :).

McMaster Carr too, whichis like Grainger but allows for anyone to buy

The search continues...

Peter,

McMaster Carr definitely has black oxide alloy screws. These will be high strength, and pretty low cost. They come with a black oxide finish, and have oil on them from the quenching process.

Picky, picky, picky --- Just kidding:D

How about this one - I know that they sell to individuals and they have a web store:

http://www.fastenal.com (http://www.fastenal.com/)

They have black oxide machine screws.

Hope that one works better for you.

Enco sells them. (use-enco.com). Most of my suplies come either from MSC (msc-direct.com) or Enco. Enco is a bit cheaper both in cost and quality. MSC ships very fast; I usually have my order within 2-3 days.

Cheers,
Bernhard
