Just installed the Shark Guard on my Hybrid saw and it seems to work great...well..until I tried to tilt the blade to a 45 degree angle, then the little ratcheting handle hits on the insert.
Before I get the grinder out I thought I'd ask if anyone else had that problem??

Can the ratchet assembly be reversed to the other side?

No matter where the final position of the ratcheting handle is after adjustment? If the handle is pointing down will it still hit?

Yes, the bottom of the insert is webbed and even if the handle is pointing down its the main part that hits the webing.

I emailed Lee and he said it wasn't uncommon to have to grind out a little clearance on the bottom of the insert sometimes.
I figured it'd take a few days to get a response and he replied with in a few hours, if that...kudo's for Lee and the Shark Guard.
