Hi, everyone.

What ideas does anyone have for a liner for the barrel on my cyclone? I have a 35 gal barrel. I've seen the device Oneida sells and I'm hoping there is a simpler and less expensive idea to collect the chips/dust and just lift the bag out, rather than scooping the stuff out into a bag. And where do you buy the bags to fit into the barrel?

As always, thanks for any advice coming my way.

Greg

With fall coming up, it shouldn't be hard to find one of those flimsy plastic sheets that you roll-up, insert into a trash bag, then release. It slips into an open position, just srtong enough to allow you to stand it up and fill with leaves. When it's full, you simply slide the support out, close up the bag, and go on to the next one. I believe Lowe's, ACE, and/or H.D. stocks them in the early fall, but I'd bet they can be found online also.

I read about someone welding a wire frame to fit inside the barrel. He put a trash bag inside the barrel then the wire frame. When full, pull out the frame and then the bag.

I used 4" welded fence wire rolled into a cylinder and twist tied together. Pulls out OK and the price was right. I like the rolled up/released plastic sheet idea though. Could be a little easier to remove.
