The shop will be 20x20. I'll only be installing 2 windows so as to increase wall space for cabinets and shelving but will install banks of 8 ft. daylight flouresents. Most of the year I can open the roll up door and walk in door for natural lighting. Electrical will be the most challenging part and I'll probably go a little over board on outlets. I'm even going to wire for stereo. got to have music when turning. I'm hoping framing materials will be delievered today or tomorrow. I'm not doing this project by myself because I want it done right as I'm no expert on building but will help all the way through. The interior will be all mine to do.

Windows mounted high on the wall/gables can provide natural light without compromising too much on storage, if at all depending on the height of the walls.

Compromise with the LOML on size. She has plans for the back yard. Good idea on the window hight Jim. the ceiling will be 9' so I guess I can have the windows a little higher than originally planed.
