Anyone know of plans out there for a worktable that is very sturdy, yet allows the table top to go from horizontal plane to a vertical plane? I have a limited amount of space, but I have been dying to get a good table to do my work. I would think that if the plans are right, it could be very sturdy, and still be mobile. Thanks for your advice.

Saw this idea in American Woodworker #127 for a mobile table base (http://www.americanwoodworker.com/userdocs/images/content/Folding_Bench.pdf) that folds up to nothing. You'd still need to manage your working surface, but might be something to consider if your space is at a premium.

Here are two that I've just looked at:

I appreciate the other link posted. I've wanted to make a traveling lathe stand for a friend, and this may be just the idea to get me started....

Jim,
Thanks for the reply. Your first link when to a local Tampa paper, not anything wood related. I am interested to see what you have, could you give me another link?
Thanks.
