Here is a stainless steel tombstone I did yesterday. Not real happy with the picture but it is not to bad for what I had to work with.

James the work looks fine. The stainless steel tombstone I'm having problems with, not really my cup of tea, but I'm sure they will be happy with your work

The guy that I did it for has a metal fab shop. It was for his niece. He wanted to make something for her personally.

I think it must be totally unique, I've never heard or seen one of those before.

That is actually the second one that I have done, The first one was an obelisk. I did not get pictures of that one. My camera had bit the bullet.

James, what kind of machine do you have? That's looks to be wider than 24". Did you do that with Cermark? I agree, kind of a strange choice of materials, but why not? It should last a long long time.

James, just goes to show, I asked my wife what she thought of the stainless steel tombstone, she thinks they are fantastic. I'm thinking about getting her one for next week.

Stainless will weather good but will water spot. a lot of memorial parks are switching to reclaimed water that is a lot harder. Also a back-hoe or mower would do a lot of damage to it.

I would think that a backhoe or mower would do a lot of damage to a traditional granite memorial as well, probably more!
