I need some help with a little kerf bending

Does anyone know of a way to figure how much of a pie cut one would need to make in a straight cove moulding to get it to fit a curve. I figure I'll just try until I get it right but was wondering if anyone knew a better way. :confused:

Well I couldn't figure it out either and made them out of solid wood but now I need to cut the cove in the pieces.

Hi,
I think you could take your inner and outer radii (with the moulding you are using) for the curve-say 8" and 6". You have to lose 2" and if your saw cuts are 1/16th wide we are looking at 32 cuts spaced around the curve area of the coving.:rolleyes:
