Somewhat of a Gloat!

One weekend every year, we rent a motorhome and drive up to Iowa for the annual Newf.Net Get Together. We usually have about 60 people and 40 dogs. They hold a raffle and an auction, with the proceeds going to Newfoundland dog rescue. I always make something to donate. This year, I donated this:

It went for $800!!! :eek::eek:

I also made a walnut and maple double dovetail jewelry box that I took along to show a friend. She bought it for $400! She also commissioned me for another one, AND a Newfie table!!!

That table is great!!! Congratulations on the successful raffle. Now you've got me thinking about doing something like that, but with a basset hound. It's worth a try. Thanks.
