Have a friend who is attempting to install rope trim on the face of crown molding.
His cabinet installer suggested cutting the trim laying on the back at 45 then trimming the bevel with a sharp knife until it fit snug. I suggested something similar.
Anyone have a better way to do this. He does has a SCMS at his disposal.
I couldn't find a photo to describe it better in the short time I have now. It is similar to crown with rope trim but the rope is being added higher up and after the crown is installed.
Thanks in advance
Joe
