brad nailer to good??

I have a Delta brad nailer that's so good it tries to nail two brads at at time about every 5th time, I think its a nice feature, but I really don't need it....
Any idea on how to stop the 2 fer 1 thing??

It may not apply in your case but I have a PC nailer that will do that with the cheap nails from HF but never does it with name brand nails.

Actually I think it might be the pack that came with the nailer, I'll have to check.
I might mention it has about 100 nails though it, and wonder if there's any break in period?
I'll check on the brand name for the nails and try another brand maybe...thanks
