Here is a El Grande pen and pencil set I made for myself unless someone buys them. They are out of acrylic and it is called smoke. MM'd to 12000, with diamond buffed with Ren Wax and very lightly buffed.

very nice! I'm just about to order some gentlemen's pens and some jumbo acrylic blanks from CUSA, so the timing is great. :)

Really sharp looking Bernie! Question about the acrylic; is it tough on the tools?

I don't know Mike. Seems to me to be no different than wood. Of course the only tool I use doing any pen is the skew. After I have did 2 or 3 I just hone it with a diamond hone and go on.

Thanks for the comments. I think they did turn out nice. I really like the acrylic but it does stink the shop up a little with the plastic smell.
