2 projects within a month.... My wifes going to love me... Now all I have to do is start running the wires.

Has any one ever used Cool-Components as exhaust fan units for the audio cases??

84" long... did not realize how heavy this thing was going to be...

Gary,

Thanks, 79"x28"x19" are the dimensions... 6.25" base.. so it still has enough room to stack equipment without over heating...

Craig, That is a nice looking cabinet. Can I ask if you are going to install pull hardware on the flush mount doors or are they spring loaded to pop out when pushed on?

Looks really nice, that is just about what I am planning for mine stand. I have been thing of not putting the end cabinets and just having it a shelf on each end to put my big old Bose speakers on.
But I really like the looks of yours and may just have to get new speakers that are smaller.

I have not used the cool components fans but those fans are exactly what I need for a cabinet I made to hold all my AV equipment. Thanks for the idea.

PS, I like the TV stands

Excellent, when I finish a few other house projects and my speakers I am doing a TV stand also. Mine will be similar but with 3 vertical spots in the middle (pull drawers for DVD's and a center channel).

Nice job Craig. I like the glass that you chose for the doors. It almost looks like a more traditional handblown. Are the doors beaded? It's hard to tell from the pictures.

Russell,

Yes the doors are beaded, single on the outer edge, double on the internal edge. I simplified it to a mitered door instead of doing it the right way... worked though got it done quickly.

FYI, The glass was available by retail, Henderson's is the big glass place by me. They called it 'seeded' glass.
