I stated back in my post about checking, (don't know how to link another post) I would post some pics of the walnut turning after completion. The finish is 4 coats of tung oil only. After the tung oil dries for several more days, I will spiff it up a little. Size is about 6 1/2 inches in dia. and 8 inches high. Not all that impressive but it is what it is.
Walnut is not a very common tree out here in the high desert so I was real happy to get this piece even though it had dried too quickly.
