I ordered 4 3-D Acrylic bottle stoppers from Arizona Silhouette. Wow. They are extremely easy to turn and very unique. I ordered 1 US Navy, 2 US Marine Corps and 1 captured rose.Monday evening while waiting for my youngest son to drive in from Houston, I turned this US Navy. At the interface between the two colors of acryilic is an official US Navy emblem. It doesn't show well in the photos because the spherical shape of the b/s distorts the view but it has a nice "magnification" effect when you are handling it and you can see and read the words quite well. This was turned using just a skew, wet sanded through 400 grit and wet sanded 1500 grit micro mesh and then Beal buffed. I can't wait to see how the other's come out.

What I find works VERY well after wet sanding to the higher grits is not using the Beall system but use a 3M product called Finesse It. It goes on like a liquid wax and then just buff. High end auto paint shops use this for a mirror like finnish. One bottle is about 16.00 ( at least the last time I bought one)and will last a very long time.

Really nice looking stopper Ken! You must have that skew work down pretty good to turn out something like this! Very nice work!
