If anyone does not get the Woodcraft flyer, their 10% off anything in the store sale is 7/28. They usually don't discount the power tools, but it specifically mentions that power tools are on sale. If you were on the fence about a new lathe or turning tool, maybe this will help with your decision. Just FYI.

My local woodcraft confirmed today that they would order the Rikon 14" deluxe BS that they don't typically stock at 10% off on that day. I'm assuming that applies to all catalog items.

Woodcraft doesn't seem to want to advertise the PM 3520B, but I know if I call my store they would order one at 10% off. JET/Powermatic is currently having a promotional which puts it at $2699 (through 8/31/07), so it would be out the door for $2429 plus tax.
The PM 3520 is neither listed in the catalog or on their website. Strangely the PM 4224 does show up on their website.

On Monday I ordered a Jet 1642 2 HP lathe and a Jet Dust Collector and got the 10% discount from the local Woodcraft. Neither of them were in stock and I will not get the items until the end of the month. The total savings was almost $200.00.

I work at the loacal woodcraft in Greenville SC and we stock the 14 deluxe rikon but we sell out every time we order them(weekly). We ordered 14 yesterday and have already sold 5 of them. They are great saws. I am also not sure if they will let yo double dip on the discount and the PM/Jet sales. Doesnt hurt to ask though.

I told the LOML we needed to go to Denver before the end of the month to see her dad who is in the VA home. She said yea right I suppose Woodcraft or Rockler is having a sale.:eek: :mad: I hate it when she has me figured out. (of course she has 40 yrs. of practice:rolleyes: ;) ) Naw just wanted to look around. I need a couple of good spindle gouges.
