A small gloat, but significant to me. I just made my first sale ever! :D I sold a nostepinne, online. Here's hoping for many more... ;)

Way to go Patrick. Congratulations. Was it one of the ones you posted pictures of?

Just curious.... how much? You don't have to answer if you don't want to.

I don't think I posted this one. It's a Tiger birch one from a batch of about 6 that are similar, but have different details. You can see it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/patrickdylan/718150762/in/set-72157600643127091/

Congrats. I have to ask what is a nostepinne?

Knitters can use them to wind a skein of yarn (big loops) into a center-pull ball (a ball from the center of which you can pull yarn out as you need it). There are crank winders that attach to a table, but the nostepinne is the old-school way of doing it.

Congrats! Did you ever think your first sale wouldn't be a pen or bowl? More to come I hope for you!

Real nice piece, glad someone asked what it was for! You are no longer an amateur like a lot of us. Skip

I only know because I'm married to a compulsive knitter.

I wouldn't get one for my wife as she's a compulsive hitter! Looks like a sawed down nightstick to me!.........But beautifully done Patrick!
