Got a couple. April Aire brand a 150 and a 90 pint unit.
The big one is a tad sensitive because they used a fan that moves air at too high a velocity. If you don't have the inlet and outlet equal it makes for problems of over pressurization if it's the outlet that's small or sucking water off the cold heat exchanger and all over the innards and electronics of the unit if it's the inlet that's a tad undersized.

Ya gotta have 'em dead equal or you'll have problems.

The 90 pint unit is way more forgiving.

They do work however. My cellar (and attached garage shop) used to have an 8 month monsoon season. Now it's bone dry.

Watch your 'lectric bill. Around here, I can bump the bill $25.00 - 30.00/mo. Like running a refridge full time.
