because i got such a good response on my other pieces i posted recently

i figured i would post a few of my newer pieces
maple purpleheart 12" tall

Some very nive work there! I like the walnut and zebra wood personally. I like the neck on the piece. Caps it nicely

Very nice work. I keep expecting Barbara Edend to pop out of the maple and purpleheart piece.

Wow - some very nice work Chris! Each piece is unique and deserves a post of it's own! Very nice segmented work - clean joints, good color combinations and finishes. Keep up the good work!

All I can say is WOW! Just looking at these peices sends my mind racing into thoughts of different patterns of glue ups. I've done inlays before, but your "artistic talent" for the prep before the turn is truly amazing.
There will never be another peice of scrap in my shop or my custom woodworking endevors. My mind has just been opened to endless possibilities just by seeing some of your peices. I am going to have to sell my other pickup and one of the boats now. You guys have me frothing at the bit. Well done!

thanks guys

i am trying to get money up for a new lathe and also want to challenge myself to new ideas and techniques

i will post more pictures of my others that i currently have in progress
