Will be traveling to Columbus, Oh. this coming weekend. Does anyone have any recommendations, as far as woodworking is concerned? Any must see places?

There's a Woodcraft, which is about the same as any other. There is also Wood Werks Supply (http://www.woodwerks.com/) which caters from hobbiest to industrial and has a Rockler store inside their store.

There's an industrial tool supply on Phillipi Rd. It may be named Elco or Enco.

Thre was a Paxson hardwood store in Hilliard--not sure if they're still open.

There is also a place called Harris Tool. They have some good deals on new stuff and also have deals on rebuilt Dewalt and PC. It is on West Schrock Road in Worthington, Ohio (a Northern burb of Columbus).

I stopped by Wood Werks for the first time a few weeks ago. It's a really nice store- plenty of wood, lots of tools on display, plus some industrial tools you don't usually see at a hobby type shop. They also have all of the Rockler stuff in the back.

If you want to put your hands on a whole bunch of tools, including lots of Festool, they were the place to go.

Wood was pricey, but pretty much all S3S wood is pricey these days.
