The tale, continued...
Got my new CDD 12V on Wednesday, but the shop was so cold it was outside the operating range of the charger.
The shop warmed up enough to charge the batteries yesterday, so I was able to fool around with it a bit. I'm looking forward to the next "tight spot" situation to really crow about it, but the surprising thing to me was how comfortable and well-balanced the tool is--it makes my old faithful DeWalt feel clunky and awkward. I suspect I'll be reaching for it on ordinary (un-tight) drill and drive jobs as well.
The folks at Festo really do put a lot of good ergonomic and engineering ingenuity into each tool.
Worth the money--and that's saying a lot!
