We've got someone with not much money who wants some plastic letters cut for an outdoor sign. We can get .060 ABS plastic pretty cheap and he seems happy with it. Will this stuff weather very well? And can we glue it with Super Glue or Weld-Bond to painted aluminum? We don't do signs, mostly marble engraving, Delrin jigs, and wood stuff but this is a friend with a new business who needs something cheap.

It won't really weather well ,if you can , rather cut the letters in vinyl and apply em to the aluminium. However , if the guy wants a cheap sign , he's prolly not concerned about its long term durability so you might as well cut in abs , use a contact adhesive or very high bond tape to apply the letters.
