I rushed this one.. woke up early and decided to rough out a piece of the osage I cut yesterday. I got carried away and ended up finishing it. It was pretty dry.The tree had been down, but off the ground for about 10 years. I've got my fingers crossed.. :)
7 X 4, antique oil, burnished with a paper towel, buffed, polished and waxed. OO finishes like glass.. really pretty.

I hope it survives to. Thats a great looking bowl. I like the rim. Too bad it won't stay this color.

It starts out a bright yellow.. the yellow mellow into a tanish yellow.
