I won a Pear log at last months club raffle. One half of it is this NE. This was one of those pieces that held a surprise in that it had some nice curl. Anxious to see the HF I made from the other half. This measures 10" x 7-1/2" x 4-1/4" tall. Foot is 1-1/2" and the walls are 5/16". Finished with antique oil and beall buffed. Comments are welcome. And Mark Cothren, thanks for your inspiration . Comments/critiques welcome and thanks for looking.

Curly pear, I don't think I've ever seen that before.
The ring spacing, bark, color and curl all look a lot like a large Bradford Pear I took down a year and a half ago. Beautiful wood.
