I picked up this WoodMaster 2675 drum sander last Monday from fellow Creeker Randy Houghton. Randy no longer had a need for it and I just happened to be in the market. http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=60255
I spent the last couple of days doing some shop rewiring, giving her a D&C (dusting & cleaning) and a good lube. Man, that 5hp Leeson motor is huge! She’s almost like new and purrs like a kitten.
Oh yeah, I sold my Delta 18/36 today. Life is good! :)

I didn't know Woodmaster made a dedicated drum sander. I get these flyers in the mail and they are these 3 in 1 molder , sander saw? I'm real interested in a sander like that. Let us know how it works out for you.:)

Gary, They have been making them for years. They make 3 different drum sanders, 26",38", & 50" and they recently came out with a 50" dual drum sander.

I had a hunch when I saw your Delta ad that there might be a gloat coming. Nice upgrade.

That's a very nice machine Bruce. They make a quality product. The reviews of their line of machines on the forums is always positive.
Excellent Gloat

I just visited their site. Does yours take a hook & loop sandpaper? Looks like a great machine, Bruce.

Yes it does. Randy also had a good assortment of paper. You can see some of it on my tablesaw to the right.

Enjoy!

I never hear anything negative about Woodmaster stuff. Looks like a keeper for sure.

Thanks guys. I’m making a lumber run up to Santa Fe tomorrow for a large panel that I need to make. The Woodmaster will come in really handy.
Now if I could just figure out how to push the shop walls out a few feet.

Nice gloat. I think about those everytime I get a flyer. Lightly used would be even better. Congrats.

Good on ya' Bruce! Great gloat. I'm sure you'll have a ton of fun making a ton of dust! I have the 16/32 Performax and can only imagine that the bigger motor on yours will make all the difference. Enjoy.

Glenn, if push came to shove, I could actually make money with the mill, not so with the woodworking..
