New guy here

Hi all

New to this website. I am strictly a hobbyist, fairly amatueur. I used to spend most of my woodworking computer time on Wood Magazine's forums, however they recently changed the entire website around, with mostly negative results. Anyway, I will attempt to attach a picture of a curly maple and cherry blanket chest made for the wife for mothers day. Finish was my first attempt using BLO, topped with water-based poly. I am not totally impressed with the finish, but other than that it turned out ok.
