Plaque makers

I have a question for the flat workers on this forum. I have requests for plaques that have concave corners that are approx. 1.5 inch in and the plaque deminsions are 7 x 14 inches. I would like to put a fancy edge around the whole plaque. Do you do this on a router table or with a hand held router.
Any info would be greatly appreciated

In short yes.

You can do either, with a router mat the piece should stay stable enough to run the profile.

I would most likely do it with a table and a starter pin.
