Hello. I just got my Oneway Stronghold chuck and turned my first bowl. It is a potpourri box out of padauk for my wife. The chuck is well worth the money.

Very nice.
Just so you know... you will be finding orange dust in the shop for the rest of your life now. =) I did a project with Padauk and I am still finding orange everywhere. =)
Very cool though.

Nice bowl John!
Once you start figuring out all the things you can do with a good chuck it opens up a whole new world of woodturning.

That's really nifty! I like turning padauk (even if I do stain things orange lol) Where do you get that top piece?

Hello Bonnie,
I bought it a Lee Valley. This one is 4" in diameter. You can get a set of 3 different ones from Packard Woodworks, about 3" in diameter. Thanks. John.

Thanks John, I'll have to look into getting some before the Christmas rush starts.
