A little Mesquite gloat of my own

This trunk is from my next door neighbors tree. Unfortunately this is all I got. He cut it down before I started turning so I had no use for it at the time. Now if I could only spindle turn it:D It's 126 inches long.

You could always look at it as the world's largest segment! Couple of more trees, you could have an entire ring complete. :D

:D I shure wish I'd have known turning was in my future when he cut the tree down. The stump is about 2-1/2 feet in diameter.:(
