I just tried a piece of Corian, although it runs slow, I was impressed with how it lasers and colorfills.

Nice work Brian. Have to admit I have never had a go of the stuff but it certainly seems to be able to cope with very fine lines. Certainly from your sign it looks most impressive.

Very nice work - what did you use for the color fills please - lazerbits.com, I presume?

I just masked before lasering and sprayed with Krylon copper paint. This one was a piece of cake. I had a tiny bit of overspray in one spot and I used 3M scotchbrite on it, worked a charm.

You can use almost anything for color fill. I use craft paints from Michael's or krylon. Rustoleum makes acrylic enamel which works

I use medium tack application paper pressed down with a squeegee.

I used a 6" wide med tack paper. I think I bought it from Laserbits.

I use no mask unless I am doing more than one color.

I spray - wipe (quickly while still wet ) with a paper towel wrapped onto something smooth and flat. Let dry. Then sand it with a ROS.

Works great.

Forgive my ignorance,
What's a ROS? Really Old Sponge?

Random Orbital Sander.

They are not really random but close enough if you move them around a little.
