Club President's challange

This months challange for The Central Illinois Woodturners is a lidded box. This is my third attempt. It was a left over corner from a bowl blank. The blank came from the butt flair of a 50" hard Maple. 3" tall and 2" dia, sanded to 400, EEE applied and then buffed with Beal because it wasn't shinny enough after the EEE. It has a fair suction fit but not a good suction fit.

Terry this is a great little box, the wood is awsome great figure in it and the form of the box lets the wood be the star.
