poplar 27 inches tall 11.25 diameter
(turned on a jet 1236 )

(first real piece turn using the Don Pencil Hollowing set )

my first real attempt at turning a cowboy hat (11" diameter)

( i assume the markings in the maple are from the way the wood it cut ???
is it quartersawn???

Impressive work Chris! Quite the variety and all are very nice but the poplar vase really grabs my attention! Love the form, the size, color and the finish! Hope to see more of your work soon!

thanks guys

i have some more ideas brewing in the old noggin

right now i am working on a couple more segmented pieces

i also have roughly 65 rough turned and dry bowls that are just begging to be finished

( i love the DNA soak :) )

Chris, you got skills!!!!! Those are absolutly incredible. You should post as often as possible. I now have more to add to my favorites list. Nice choice of colors, shapes, choices of wood and overall creativity. :) "A"+ in my book.

they are starting to go to my head :) :)

personally on some of them i dont feel that they are even my best work

i just keep trying to to make myself happy on my turnings and then if someone wants to buy them great
