Entertainment center * UPDATE * - a prototype door

Many of you looked at a couple of my posts on this unit:

1. This version (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=58965&highlight=entertainment+center), which was the latest I posted a short while back.

2. And the earlier version: to which several of you also provided feedback. (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=58872&highlight=entertainment+center)

3. And the original post (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=58872&highlight=entertainment+center), requesting input from the forum on the design.


The client decided on the unit as shown in the rendering below - the unit will be in rustic / knotty alder:

I have been making some prototype doors using poplar - to compare with buying from vendor. I attach this one also:

Nice work, Al. Have you shown the door to the clients yet? If so, what was their reaction? Were they ok with the profile of the dividers?

The clients loved and selected this door, as it was their favorite, including the profile. I hope to start this project in earnest toward the end of this month, once other projects currently under way are completed and out of the shop.
