Cutting multiple layers of acrylic

Has anyone ever tried cutting two layers of 1/8" acrylic with the 1/4" setting, and if so any problems/issues? I have a bunch of ovals to do and it would save me a lot of material changing time.

I have a bunch of ovals to do and it would save me a lot of material changing time.I did something similar to see if my machine would handle 3/8": cut through two sheets of 0.2" taped together.

Only issue from your point of view is that it did a really nice job of welding the two pieces together at the cut line. I don't know if a layer of transfer tape between them would prevent that and/or how it would affect the cut.

Thanks Lee. I'll leave the factory paper on since there's no engraving involved.
