I joined a local woodturning club a couple of months ago and have learned a lot. Today is our annual picnic and training session. One of the members has a really nice shop and has agreed to hold the picnic there. There will be training on sharpening (which I know I need), preparing bowl blanks (definitely could use some help) , beginning turning (I've watched a lot of videos but it will be nice to see it up close and personal), and milling lumber for f###work. Add good food and fellowship and it should be great day. Plus it is rumored that I will get a chance to turn on his Oneway 2436 for a while.:D
Tomorrow is fathers day so the kids and their families will be over and I've taken the day off on Monday as it is our 30th wedding anniversary and I've gotten a few surprises for LOML.
Should be a heck of a weekend.
