Walnut Burl bowl

This may be the prettiest piece I have turned to date. Made from a burl which grew around a side branch, so it had a hole all the way through.
Bowl is 4" high, 4.5 " dia. at the top. Finished with Behlen's bowl finish and Hut friction polish.
I include a pic of the original burl.

Correct. It served to close the hole and to give me something to grab with the screw chuck.
