I had the day off yesterday and spent several hours chainsawing my "log collection" into bowl blanks. As a result I have a sore back, 25 or so bowl blanks ready to go on the lathe and the messiest shop I've ever had. I'm glad to be done with that, but as you can see on the shelf, I'm still not quite done.

Jason, if you run out of room to store those blanks, I think I can spare some room:rolleyes: . Just send them on over and they'll be here when you come to get them.:p :p

I know why the blanks look terrible. The shop background is not mine!:D

Nancy, your just trying to rob him blind. Atleast I'll tell him I want them!

You're right Jason - that's quite the mess! Looking forward to seeing some bowls fairly soon!

Nor is it mine!! No, I'm not trying to rob him---I just offered to store them for him if he needed overflow storage space. I said NOTHING about using them--just storing them.

Nothing like using a chainsaw in the shop to make a worse mess than the lathe. :D

Nice collection you got there Jason, but I have to ask you a question. Uhhh...why did you cut them up INside the shop.:)
