I bought a Jet 13" benchtop plannner last year and it seems to do a good job. Last week I decided the blades were dull enough to fool with and pulled out the directions. It says to just replace the blade but looking at them, they have a cutting edge on both sides of the blade so I asume I can just flip them around and use the other new edge? Seems like the manual should mention that!
I also went looking at the WMH tool group (owns JET) website and it doesn't look like they sell any benchtop planners anymore? They now have a planner/molder with a full stand etc. My Jet uses knives that are not adjustable and fit over pins - am I going to be able to buy new blades in the future??
Thanks for any info
